We have received in stock the three volumes of the excellent series on the railways in the Forest of Dean by Ian Pope, Bob How and Paul Karau. Published by Wild Swan the content is of that publisher's usual superb quality and are an essential addition to any library on the GWR or the Forest of Dean. The condition of all three books is close to Fine/Fine with the only fault being the slightest of fading the the DW spine on Volume 2. The volumes are available now at £75 + post.
We are a family business, selling books for the past 15 years, provide a personal and friendly service and are always happy for you to contact us if you have any queries. We pride ourselves on the condition of all our books and our descriptions are always accurate. All our books are packed using bubblewrap and custom-made boxes. We will always try to post books within 48 hours of receiving an order
THIS WEEK'S NEWS
We have recently been able to purchase almost all of the excellent "Power" series by Oxford Publishing. As you would expect some of the rarer titles have gone quickly but there are still a large number still available. At the same time due to a local promotion we have seen an upsurge in sales of our books on Cornish railways, particularly sought after have been the Bradford Bartons on this area, I suspect mainly because we have tried to keep the prices competitive.
OUR PREMIER RANGE
Over the next few weeks we will be transferring the best of our books to our new Premier Range. We are aware that for some collectors of out-of-print railway books, only those in Fine/Fine condition are wanted. So we have created a category for these books. Ordering from here will ensure that there are no faults whatsoever, no markings, inscriptions, creasing, foxing, tears or anything else to detract from the book (although we always fully describe any faults that may appear in any of our books). We will not be advertising these books on any other site other than our own. They will not be necessarily expensive or rare books - just top quality!
Please contact us if you have any Railway books to sell. We are always interested in buying from a single volume to a complete collection
We also run another website for all our other titles with approx 9,000 books in stock, so please visit us at www.recollectionsbookshop.co.uk
